STEPHEN, A Chicken but Kind-hearted

My brother, Tephen, was born when I was in Grade 2. Animosity was non-existent then. In fact, sibling rivalry is particularly intense when children are close in age.

I did contribute in my brother's study habit. He was my protégé...one who could be nocturnal just to learn by heart what had been taught in school. He studied with a clock alongside his notes- putting a deadline for him to know which time he would end.

Unlike me, Tephen was into sports. He used to play basketball with our cousins. Papa also did during the inter-barangay tournament. I'm not sure about this opinion but the 2nd child in the family circle is more reserved than the other siblings. This is true with Tephen...who seems hard to please or convince. Two things for sure...he's chicken-hearted with ghost stories but he is overly spiritual.

Tephen has been picky of what garments to wear. Out of my dozen shirts, for example, he would only choose one (if not none). One funny fact about organizing clothes is that he used to jumble used & unused ones.

My brother got married in 2008 to Glo, a native of Nueva Ecija.

Note:

A barangay, also known by its former Spanish adopted name, the barrio, is the smallestadministrative division in the Philippines and is the native Filipino term for a village, district or ward.
