Blow-by-Blow Discovery

It was summer then, at the pinnacle of my Youth Headship, I was requested by Tito Ramon Alsua to meet her better half, Tita Tess Crespo-Alsua, who was in Bicol province for Ramon Mitra’s national candidateship campaign.

That time, I wasn’t introduced to most of the Alsua – Samson clan yet, as I had constringed opportunity getting along with distant relatives due to studies and small-scale undertakings in my own unit. Somehow, a portion of my plate was catered to civic and religious groups that unbolted various doors for me to get noticed and considered favorably significant.

We often talked about budding leaders to be fragile, inexperienced and unheard, howbeit the commitment that the minority tendered could challenge the so-called ‘well-versed veterans’.

Having the ‘voice of the youth’ heard in the streets while drilling and waving the banner of our Constitutional Right (the ‘Right to Vote’), was truly an amazing personal journey.… But this blog is not about political affairs – rather the footpath of the mystical and similar interests that were shaped (between me and Tita Tess) is now worth remembering.

Post Elections:

Apprehensive of her upcoming presentation on ‘Crystals’ (business venture), Tita Tess once intuitively asked if I knew someone who could sketch on cardboards as her visual aid … and without batting an eyelid, I claimed the task. Not mentioning the win-win outcome of her presentation, what I produced in that nick of time was perceived a clairvoyance on Tita Tess’ part… and so I ascertained something else - she considered me her ‘Angel’.

On several casual occasions, my presence was summoned by the family. I became familiar with ‘Lira’ (Tita Tess’ owned Angel-character) that indulged her with so much favor and fervor. She made me realize that Angel experience is tangible with human encounters, too. It could be a myth as we thought of Angel as blissful who travels and makes presence visibly felt whenever he/she is called for – perhaps guiding us through in all our endeavors.

Just a recap to strengthen this justification:

Tita Tess had prayed for an Angel who could (1) bring young brood to her campaign-rally, (2) run drawing flairs on her Crystal presentation, and finally (3) contribute to her Angel Society (part of her awareness-mission on angel existence and its celestial legacy), which she had all remarkably seen in me, hence naming me her living Angel.

Sensible as it seemed though, I had placed myself into a vulnerable shoe, that would welcome experience from all walks of life and open my eyes to otherworldly familiarity. I began collecting angel figurines and artifacts while earnestly sharing testimonials and materials for the 'Angel Society'.

My involvement in Youth Encounter Programs (comprised of 300+ members) had driven me to foster Angel experience broadly. I shared leads and friends’ angel stories – even wrote a number of articles on the same.

Year 2016, months before Christmas:

Tita Tess had been unceasingly trying to send soft copies of the Angel Society publication; unfortunately mail couldn’t go through due to its massive file-size. There were several attempts though, somehow they got tossed to the spam bin, but she would pop-in my FB inbox, encouraging me to pursue being a contributor to her Angel-quest. On Christmas day that year (sadly), Tita Tess passed away!

Last night while I was clearing my personal inbox, I bumped into Tita Tess’ supposedly-failed messages. Strangely, attachments were actually sent successfully – and the blow didn’t stop there … My ARTICLES were PUBLISHED decades ago (and it never hit my facts) !!!

Everything could have been said and done - For namesake, we shall call each other’s Angel, but along the trail of our personal saga, somehow, somewhere we come across real-life angels who are sent and vanished but never perished in our hearts.

Many I've simply talked about angels were themselves touched by angel miracles. Now is time to gather them an tell their stories. Thank you Andy, my kindred spirit friend. So same same, cooking, writing, painting, praying, loving, crazy sometimes, free spirited, adventurous or lay as. D ba?

Something strange is happening right now Andy. I am astonished but I believe the angels are in our midst working with us. I had difficulties getting attendance for a meeting on angels n was about to give up. Then confirmations of attendance came in. I then decided to get out of FB n just go on gmail when something popped up on my screen, page 71 of a book" The Third Man Factor, Surviving The Impossible" a page on a miracle on ground zero. Then to the next pages on angels particularly on San Rafael, who looms huge and powerful in my living room beside me now. My hair is standing up. Let's start now. First photo muna your article.
