During the latter days in the field of Sewerage System, a lot of alternatives were gauged and had passed through environmental requirements. Today, promotions of the advanced technology have resulted to a challenging scope of work that Corodex Electromechanic, a part of Concorde-Corodex Group (CCG), seized through the stiff competition in the market. Thus, winning the prestigious project for the Palm Island in 2000 has been CCG’s greatest conviction toward success.
The Palm Jumeirah Island holds its pride for being lucrative, while remarkably distinguished by the whole world as one of its wonders. Henceforth, numerous projects are being implemented within this island like the “Vacuum Sewerage System” (in conjunction with Roediger Germany), which is CCG’s bread and butter as the design, supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance take place for AED 35 Million worth project for Nakheel.
The system has supported approximately 2,000 villas, having 800 collection chambers and 30 km of vacuum sewer line to a central vacuum station, which is installed underground inside the sewage treatment plant.
Aside from reducing the investment and operational costs, as compared to the conventional gravity and pumping stations, CCG’s modern and reliable vacuum sewerage system has the following benefits: Much shorter construction period; smaller pipe diameters & shallower installation depths; odors are contained in the system, no manholes are required; electricity is only needed at one central point; uphill transportation is possible, and ease of water treatment, no specific wastewater due to aerobic conditions inside the sewers.
This Palm scheme certainly marks CCG in history making, much exceptionally after its completion this summer.
