Fixation with Fixtures

Whenever my feet step into a shop, I couldn’t help but burn a hole in my pocket if it’s for a good lighting fixture. I guess growing-up I only possessed 2 things – a study table and a lamp. The latter got me hooked unto it that my eyeballs would roll-up as I enter a habitation or a shack … definitely, a good amount of light is appealing and even makes it more entrancing if the style is an ‘oomph’!
While nesting in the most modern city of this era, my infatuation for light fittings has grown and become ambitious. Somehow, my exposure to event management, venue interiors, wayfaring, window-shopping, and globe-trotting, has cast a long shadow in my preference and style.
A good luminaire shouldn’t cost a lot, but going after satisfying yourself is a must. The undeniably evolution of how your space would appear depends on the choices you make. Although I created a not-so-favorable habit of installing and changing chandeliers often than usual, while others would have one for a lifetime, my gratification of dressing my abode up to the nines is mystifying.
To date, I’ve already outlived and outlasted 30+ chandeliers. Each one has its own profoundness and story to tell that influenced my creativity and in acknowledging our old and new SELF, it’s interesting how we create our TOMORROWS by what we’re dreaming TODAY.
... It's actually that idée fixe with lights that beguiles and keeps sparkling in my manic senses.
