They say, "we should grow where we are planted". I couldn't evoke much why my father had decided to move to Bicol. Somehow, I understood that in order for me to pursue my early years of studies in UP, one of my parents had to be a Government employee then.


Papa was a simple man with gigantic desires. He didn't depict the essence of his latter objectives during his younger years...born and bred in Bicol...a black sheep you would call without attention to education, yet a full-blooded hero in his own right. He didn't care at all whether he was backing the right or wrong horse. He believed that helping people makes you above par.

The Bicol Region or Bicolandia is one of the 17 regions of the Philippines. It occupies the Bicol Peninsula at the southeastern end of Luzon island and some other islands.#bicolregion #myhomephilippines
